On Wednesday, May 3rd 2023, the city center of Middelburg was immersed in science. During this National Science Festival, children aged 6-12 could learn about science through tests, experiments, expeditions, treasure hunts and mini-lectures taught by well-known scientists. This year, among others, Boswachter Tim and André Kuipers were present!

Yoran and Toine manned the MiCRop stand. Children could learn, among other things, what plants and micro-organisms look like under the microscope, or participate in the Virtual Reality Experience where they could see the influence of phosphates on plants and the environment under the ground. It was a successful day, with great weather and many visitors. Up to the next!
