Giannis Stringlis, until recently postdoctoral researcher at the Plant-Microbe Interactions group Utrecht University, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Plant-Pathogen-Microbiome Interactions at the Agricultural University of Athens.

While we are sad to see him leave, we are excited for him and his future research. He will stay associated to the MiCRop program, and we hope to see him again at conferences soon.
